Make A Fresh Start.
There is something special about beginning a new year. It’s an opportunity for self-reflection, to look at the big picture of what we’re doing with the one life God has given us. We cannot help but ask ourselves: am I where I should be? Am I who I should be? And we are rarely satisfied with our answer.
Each new year also brings hope for the future. We make resolutions to overcome what we think is holding us back. Our resolutions start strong, but fade quickly. Why does this happen? What are we missing? How can we stick to our resolutions firmly so that we achieve real transformation?
Your Guide To Keeping Spiritual Resolutions…
We don’t want a January change; we want a life change. A famous prayer, the Act of Contrition, leads us to say to God, “I firmly resolve, with the help of Your grace, to amend my life …” What shortcomings do you want to amend in your life? What do you firmly resolve in order to achieve this? It’s up to you.
One of the great truths of life is that where we’ve been is not what’s most important—it’s where we’re heading. Do you realize that the goal of your life has already been chosen for you, and it’s up to you to resolve to achieve it?
That is what this series is about: helping you make a fresh beginning by aligning your life with the goal God has given you and placed within your grasp. Only then will you experience real transformation within yourself and in your relationship with Him. And you can do it, step-by-step, starting today.
It’s Exactly What You Need
This 7-day online devotional series is designed to help you get your life on the right spiritual track. It helps you make seven firm resolutions to re-prioritize your life so that you can become the person God made you to be. It tells you what you need to know about yourself and about God; what He desires for you; and how to achieve it.
What is included in this series?
In this series, you will receive 7 lessons. Each lesson consists of a 6-10 minute video from Fr. Matthew Kauth, a medium-length article from our Good Catholic staff, and a resolution for you to put into practice. Each lesson ends with an audio rosary you can pray with us.
How long does this series take?
We recommend 1 lesson per day, so your series will run approximately 7 days. Every day (starting the day after you sign up), you will receive an email prompting you to read and watch the fascinating content for that day’s lesson. You can also jump ahead, viewing the lessons that interest you, or you can take more time with each lesson. Basically, go at your own pace—the emails are just there as reminders. You can repeat the series as often as you wish for a full year.
How do I access the content once I sign up?
