Have you ever wanted to live a more simple, trustful life? A life focused on God alone, free from worldly worry? Do you aspire to holiness—but it seems out of reach?
Meet St. Francis of Assisi and St. Thérèse of Lisieux. They may have lived six centuries apart, but they both have some simple secrets to share with you.
On October 10th at 8pm ET, join Fr. Timothy Danaher and author Mary Lenaburg to discover the “Franciscan Little Way” of simple, everyday holiness!
Hosted by Danielle Bean of the Girlfriends podcast
What happens when you combine Franciscan spirituality with St. Thérèse’s “Little Way”?
You get the “Franciscan Little Way”!
We all want to live a simpler and more peaceful life. We want to place God at the center of everything. We aspire to holiness. But despite our best intentions, we often find that life is complicated, demanding, and that our focus always drifts to the wrong things.
St. Francis and St. Thérèse—though they lived in different times and places—faced these same problems. St. Francis struggled with worldliness and vanity before embracing a life of joyful poverty. St. Thérèse thought that she couldn’t aspire to the sanctity of the great saints, and decided instead to find a simple path to God that is “very straight and very short.”
Taken together, their spiritual programs form a remarkable school of holiness—one that teaches us how to live more simply, to find God in everything, and to achieve lasting peace. In our fast-paced, materialistic world, their collective wisdom is more timely than ever.
On October 10th, join us to discover how to follow the “Franciscan Little Way” in your life!
