Do You Want to Break Free of Anxiety?
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.
—John 14:27
In every corner of our lives, we are faced with stress. Family issues, work projects, financial worries—sometimes we feel overwhelmed by life’s demands, and this leads to that unhealthy response known as anxiety.
Our Lord desires us to experience His peace on a daily basis. A life filled with chaos, fear, and anxiety is not the life He wants for us. So how do we respond to the inevitable stressors of life in a Christ-centered, holy, and peaceful way?
Dr. Mario Sacasa, licensed marriage and family therapist—and a Catholic husband and father—is here to help.
Understand the Causes, Find the Solution
In this 21-day series, Dr. Sacasa will lead you step-by-step into a deeper understanding of yourself, the nature of stress and why we experience it, how we respond to it in healthy and unhealthy ways, and how we can tackle it successfully.
Employing the Church’s understanding of the human person and his extensive experience in Catholic psychological counseling, Dr. Sacasa will teach you:
- What anxiety is and why we experience it
- The physical factors involved in the experience of anxiety
- How our identity as children of God is essential to our approach
- Practical techniques for handling stress and stopping the onslaught of anxiety
- Methods of prayer that cultivate inner peace
- Why talking about interior “wounds” can be dangerous and self-defeating
- …and so much more!

Overcoming Stress & Anxiety
I want to thank Dr. Sarcasa for delivering the very best workshop of copying with stress and anxiety. As a 75 year old woman I learned so much, whether it was knowledge, coping strategy or prayers that I cannot thank you enough. I will repeat these 21 days over again, not just once but at long as it takes for me to get to where I want to be which is in peace and with confidence that I had when I was a young person with my whole life ahead of me. Life has chipped away at me but now I understand why and I know what I can do to help myself get that peace back with the help of Jesus and Mary, his blessed mother. Thank you, thank you, thank you. God Bless you in your good work.
